Welcome to the year 2017 latest from tay'a
Welcome to the year 2017,I still make the mistake of writing 2016 sometime, I will get the hang of it soon enough.
So this year I started something new on my instagram page where I post a word for the month, each month of this year will have its own word, it will be kind of like a slogan so to say, something to encourage us for the month and every post will give a little light to the word.
So with that said the word for this month January is BRAVERY, this word is such a necessity to success,and it can't be over emphasized, every successful person at some point if not every step of the way had to summon courage /bravery (moving forward regardless of the fear), then I realized the word bravery had to be my first word for the year in starting my on success journey. The aim of this is to motivate ourselves (you can always leave your suggestions in the comment below, send me an email or even comment on my IG @tay_gee_ree)...
Back to base.. For my first post for 2017 (lol I just like the way that sound) I couldn't think of anything else other than this Ankara short by yours truly (me!!!!),well I don't know where I got the notion where wearing shorts to church was a big fashion no! no! for me.. But for some funny reason (to which am oblivious of) I couldn't get it out of my head to try it out,so I just had to make one and I made it using African print fabric (just cause I love it). I would soon be making outfits available for purchase, it's on my to do list for this year
To summarize this outfit, I am wearing a high-waisted Ankara short with a black vest which is underneath a black blazer and black ankle boots,the reason for the black black was so as to not bring a colour that would over shadow that of the short, basically to make the short the center of attraction (or maybe it's just cause I love black lol)..
So what do you think am open to comments
