     Teni gave us a whole song about the importance of looking good , you know the “never to be caught unfresh that’s how stars do” song...

The importance of appearance 

   Unlike my usual self, last year I placed almost no importance on appearance. I took the high road and binged on whatever was at the top of my wardrobe, talk about lazy dressing (hahaha.....I am not talking about the Kendal jenner chill lazy look oh!..no! No! No! Far far faaaaarrrrrr.....from it...  I am talking about “the homeless please help my life” kind of lazy dressing... all in the name of I cannot come and kill myself, I had so much on my mind, and so I automatically made that my excuse but  I would like to believe as a fashion enthusiast, lover, creator....etc. that I take myself to be, I missed out on a lot of opportunities because I didn’t look the part.

So on this years self development journey I would like to place  importance on appearance...

I don’t know if it is just me but I actually notice and appreciate well dressed people and immediately draw some certain conclusions based on how they look. So with the same energy I will like to know that I am also at the receiving end to some people’s critic 

   I have to state that money is not a reason for you to not look good, you really do not have to look like what you have been through or what you are currently going through. Kill every victim mind set that you may have and put more effort in how you look.

So here I styled the same outfit in two ways. You see how easy you can go and still look good. A simple basic chiffon button up top with jean shorts. The secret of styling the same outfit in different ways is to switch up accessories. 

Whether it is shoe change up or even adding a blazer/ jacket or maybe a hat, you can switch up your style from one end of the bar to the other.
