Green is not the new black

    Green can be many things but say it’s the new black?... well that’s not practical, reason being that Green is quite tricky to style and match with other hues, but it is not impossible either. with a little more effort you can effortlessly make a statement.

Green Tips 

Green is a colour of nature, and therefore many people choose to wear it during spring and summer, but I will say green is such an awesome colour and a blessing to fashion that we need to embrace it more and have more green in our closet.
Green is a perfect colour to warm up any cold season’s outfit and bring an interesting twist into your look. 

Tip 1
 If you are not ready to get out of your comfort zone, you need to stick to the darker shades of green. For example seaweed green, pickle green and Sage (A shade of green leaning towards grey).

Tip 2
Combining green with red, this probably is the most risky combination, as both colours are statement shades. Still if you really want to pair these two, make sure that one of them dominates your look and the other is just a dash. like how I did with this all green outfit, I added a dash of red with the choice of lipstick.

Tip 3
Combining green and white. Whoever designed the Nigerian flag knew what they were doing, it goes so well. The vintage white and green fabric attracted me, it was love at first sight. So combining white and green is a big yes!.

Tip 4 
Wearing all green, this is tricky and probably not the best option, but if you are like me and want to make a statement, opt for green in different shades.
